1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the Boombastic application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users, including Hosts (those who offer platonic companionship as friends for hire) and Guests (those who book such services).
2. Description of Service
Boombastic is a rent-a-friend platform that connects people with verified Hosts for real-life platonic activities and hangouts. Bombastic LLC acts solely as an intermediary platform and is not a party to any agreement between Hosts and Guests. Activities available include dining, coffee, beach outings, hiking, cycling, movies, museums, concerts, gym sessions, yoga, running, gaming, cooking classes, city tours, language practice, and networking events. Romantic, intimate, or sexual interactions of any kind are strictly prohibited on the platform.
3. Eligibility
To use Boombastic, you must be at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws, and provide accurate and complete information during registration.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@boombastics.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
5. Host and Guest Responsibilities
Hosts agree to provide accurate descriptions of their available activities, treat all Guests with respect, honor confirmed bookings, and comply with all applicable laws. Hosts acknowledge that Boombastic is strictly a social activity platform and agree not to offer or engage in romantic, intimate, or sexual interactions of any kind. Guests agree to treat Hosts with respect, honor confirmed bookings, pay agreed fees, and not request services of a sexual, romantic, illegal, or harmful nature.
6. Payments and Fees
Boombastic charges a service fee on all transactions: a 10% Guest service fee added to the Host listed price, and a 15% Host service fee deducted from the Host earnings. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Hosts receive earnings via direct deposit after a booking is completed.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the booking are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking may not be refunded. Boombastic reserves the right to issue refunds at its sole discretion in cases of documented misconduct.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Strictly prohibited on Boombastic: solicitation of sexual, romantic, or intimate services of any kind, harassment or abusive behavior, fraud or impersonation, circumventing the platform to avoid fees, posting false reviews, arranging off-platform payments, and any activity that violates applicable laws.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and logos on Boombastic are owned by Bombastic LLC. You may not copy or distribute any content without prior written permission.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Boombastic is provided as is without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the quality of experiences provided by Hosts or the safety of any in-person meeting. Bombastic LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We always recommend meeting in public places and informing a trusted person of your plans.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
