We collect information you provide: name, profile photo, email, phone number, date of birth, bio, activities, availability, payment information processed by Stripe, messages, and reviews. We also collect automatically: device information, log data, location data only with your permission, and usage data. Identity verification data is collected and processed by Stripe Identity — Boombastic does not store your government ID directly.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to create and manage your account, facilitate activity bookings between Hosts and Guests, process payments, send notifications and updates, personalize your experience, improve our platform, ensure the safety of all users, and comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. Profile information including name, photo, activities, and ratings is visible to other users to facilitate bookings. We work with the following trusted third-party providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing and identity verification), and Resend (transactional email delivery). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for fraud prevention purposes.
